last night

Last night a bunch of people came over to my house and hung out. It was pretty fun joey and I played pool all night (i beat him so bad). We also were ridding four wheelers until like 10:30 at night it was so cold. Then my friend kelsey tried to get on our dirt bike and ride it when she has never road one before and almost fell off just trying to start it. Then when she did get it started she almost ran into our street light pole. So thats pretty much all I did last night it was a good time.

tonight

Today after school I am going to go home, then my mom is going to take me to Quincy to pick up my cousins so they can come out to my house and hang out. Then my moms friend Kelsey is going to come out and hang out along with her other two friend Amanda and Jayson. So we are going to have a lot of people at my house tonight ridding the four wheelers and dirt bikes of ours. That's pretty much all I am going to be doing tonight.

cold weather

I don't like the fall and winter because it is to cold. I hate the snow the only thing i like about the snow is that it looks really pretty on the ground. Also in the winter is Christmas witch i love because its when i get to see all of my family, cause a lot of them live out of town so i do not get to see them very often except special occasions. But other than those to things I strongly dislike the cold weather. My favorite season is summer because i like to go swimming with my friends a lot.

This weekend

This weekend was a OK kind of weekend. On Friday i went to plain-ville and hung out at my cousins house to see their new born baby. She was so cute her name is savanna. On Saturday i got up early in the morning and went to Quincy and hung out at my cousin joeys house for a little bit. Later on that night i went to my friend Amber's house and we went to the mall and hung out. Then on Sunday me and amber went to church with her mom and her boyfriend. Then my mom picked me up from there and we went back to joeys and hung out then went home cause mom had to work. So that is bout all Idid this weekend.

This weekend

This weekend is going to be really boring because my mom has to work witch means i have to stay home and be bored. The only thing that might happen this weekend is that my cousins might come out and stay the weekend. My cousins are a little bit crazy so they entertain me a lot its funny to watch them. And i just found out that i might be going to Amber's house this weekend. So that is basically all i am going to be doing.

technology

Technology has made my life better in several ways. Like computers they are so much easier to keep track of things and they take up way less space, and they are a lot easier for us to do our homework. Or stuff at a doctors office like the x-ray machine if we did not have it we would not no if a bone in our body was broke or not because we would not be able to see it. That is just a few ways that technology has influenced my life.

one wish

If I had one wish it would be that amber would stop missing school. When she does miss school i get very very bord at school and have nothing to do because she is an interesting person so when she is not here i am really calm and boring. But when she is here i am usually really hyper and crazy because then i have someone to keep me occupied. So my one wish is that Amber would quit missing school so much.

My cell phone is the number one thing that i would go crazy without. I always have my phone and using it. My phone one day got broke and i went crazy i had to use my dads all day. My cell phone is a crazer it is gray. Holds lots of songs to listen to, has an mp3 player on it and a bunch of other stuff. That is one thing i can not live without.

Barack Obama

The significance of what happened last night is that we have a new president who is going to be good for our country. He is a half white and half african american man. He is a very intelgent man and he is going to try and do things other peoples way not just his way. And he is going to do great things for our country because somethings need to change and I think he could be the person to do so.

The election we had yesterday was one of the greates of all because so many people voted and took part in the great election. It was a good election and I am glade that Barack Obama won and i think he will be great for our country.

Election Day

I think election day is important to so many because it is the day that the president gets chosen in which he is the one who makes all the rules and regulations of the United States of America. So everyone is worried about who is going to win because they don't what someone who is going to be a bad president and ruin the United States, they want someone who is an truthful person and noes a lot about the United States. That is why i think election day is so important.

America's Dependence on Foreign Oil

The supply projections and how our policy of oil dependence effects our economy and security. The growing demands and shrinking domestic production means Americans are importing more and more oil every year. The United States gasoline consumption accounting 11percent of the worlds oil production, the United States has been hit hard by our dependence on oil.

The countries on the United States oil purchases are spending lots in Washington to make sure the party does not end. To days oil use outpaces new oil discoveries, with the world using about 12billion more barrels per year than it finds. The only real solution is to limit the demands for oil and therefore the economic and security risk of dependence on imports. We need to find more renewable sources of energy, and increase the efficiency of our cars and trucks.

I think what we need to do is find something the world has a lot of and use it for cars, trucks, trains and automobiles in general to run on because we are running out of oil, and we use so much of it. And i think people should only use oil when the need it not just when they want to use it. That's what i think should happen with our oil problem we have today in the United States.

Halloween

Today is Halloween which means that i have to go to Quincy and take my little sister and Little brother around trick-or-treating (fun, fun). My little sister Kelsey is being a softball player, and i have no idea what my little brother Logan is going to be. But then we are going to go hang out at my uncles house for a little Halloween party. I can't wait to go there because he has a daughter that is 1 1/2 years old and i want to see he costume I think it is going to be really cute. Well that's all I think I am doing today SO ta ta.

I am tired

I am so tired today at school because we had a bunch of people at my house yesterday for my dads birthday. So i ended up staying up all night hanging out with all of them, and did not go to bed until 3o'clock am. Then i had to get up at 6am and go to school. So now i am at school and i do not feel like doing anything i just want to go home and go to bed.

Dad's Birthday

Today is my dad's birthday and he thinks that we are not going to do anything for it. But what he doesn't no is that we are celebrating his birthday. Me and my mom called some of his friends last night and they are going to come out to my house tonight and hang out and have a bomb fire in the back yard. I think he will like it, but it is funny because he really thinks we are not doing anything for his birthday.

My BFF is moving.

I am really mad. Amber is my best friend and she is moving to Quincy next month. I have not seen her for like 3 years then i came to Payson and met her again, and now she is moving to where I came from. And she is like the only person at this school I actually hang out with after school and during school. So that is why I am mad today.

What I am doing after school?

After school today I am going to go to Quincy with my family. And when we go to town we are going to go meet my aunt, uncle, grandma, and grandpa. Then we are going to go out to eat with the whole family because it was my grandmas birthday two days ago. We have to celebrate it today though cause my dad has been out of town and we wanted him to be there. So that is basicaly all I am doing after school today.

History of Halloween

Halloween dates all the way back to the ancient Celtic festival of samhain. The Celtic think of it as when the ghosts of the dead returned to earth.
While the Celtics celebration goes on the wore costumes usually of animal heads and skins and told each other fortunes. When the European immigrants came to America they brought along the costumes. As it kept going on soon the Americans stated going from door to door asking for food or money.
The jack-o-lantern came to America by the irish myth about a man named "stingy jack". From then on the name jack-o-lantern stayed with it and became an American tradition to carve a pumpkin on halloween. Thats all i no about the history of halloween. Amber

Amber is 15. She is 5' 8". She has 5 piercings ( four earings and a belly ring). She is a blond and she really shows it at times. She wears slippers to school like everyday. She is really flexable. She skates a lot. She listens to heavy metal, and rock ( she hates my music). She wears this necklace all the time that has a guitar pick on it. She gets a little crazy sometimes. She hates to wear her hair down. Her boyfriends name is Jacob. I have known her since i was either 4 or 5 years old. She is really skinny. She hates watching tv ( i think she is crazy cause tv is the best thing in the world).

Standardized testing

I think standardized testing such as the ACT is important because it is the test that determines if a high school students preparation for collage work. The ACT test is over mathmatics, english, science, and reading. ACT means "American College Testing Program." The maximum score you can get on an ACT test is 36. The ACT is recommended for juniors and seniors. It is offered many times through out the year, but it is mostly taken in the spring.
